SMOPYC 2026 in Zaragoza

Last week, from 15 - 18 April, the international construction industry gathered at SMOPYC in Zaragoza, Spain. The event brings together leading manufacturers, innovators, and industry professionals from around the world to showcase new technology and discuss the future of the sector.

Dragon Equipment were proud to support our Spanish importer, Geomym, who were exhibiting at the show.

Supporting our importer on the ground

In preparation for the event, Dragon Equipment shipped a selection of machines to Spain to be displayed on the Geomym stand. Our goal was to ensure they had strong, reliable equipment on show to demonstrate the capability and versatility of our range to visitors attending the exhibition.

To further support the team, our Managing Director, Jeff, travelled to Zaragoza and spent the first two days of the show on the stand, working alongside Geomym. His role was focused on providing technical support, answering product questions, and helping visitors understand the performance and application of the machines in real-world environments.

The equipment showcased on the Geomym stand included:

• LF1000 Lifter

• CR450 Diesel Crusher

• CR550 Hybrid Crusher

These machines attracted significant attention throughout the event, particularly from contractors and industry professionals looking for compact, high-performance solutions for demolition and recycling applications.

A valuable international partnership

Events like SMOPYC are a vital platform for strengthening international relationships and supporting our distributor network. For Dragon Equipment, being present on the ground—even when not exhibiting directly—ensures our partners have the technical backing and product expertise needed to engage confidently with their customers.

Spending time with Geomym at the stand allowed for valuable face-to-face conversations with both existing and potential customers, reinforcing the strength of our collaboration and the growing interest in our equipment across the Spanish and wider European market.
